Gold and White Buffalo Check Scrapbooking Paper

Hi there!  Welcome to my blog.  I'm Sara Levin the artful inker.  Today, I want to share with you the page I made for my October theme challenge in the Scrapbooking Global group.  I think you're going to love my Pop of Petals and Buffalo Check Scrapbook Layout!

Scrapbooking Global October Challenge Tic Tac Toe/Bingo from theartfulinker.com

For this month's group challenge, it is a Tic Tac Toe/Bingo.

I chose to play Bingo with a frame.

For my challenge scrapbook page, I used all of the elements

that run around the outside edges of the challenge choices.

To start, I chose a 12″ x 12″ Whisper White background

with a single photo mat.

Then, I stamped a couple of pieces of Buffalo Check in Grapefruit Grove

for my stamped image.

Next, I took one of the Chicken Wire Elements and flipped it over.

Taking a Sponge Dauber and Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint, I painted the

reverse side.

Once it was dry, I cut the Chicken Wire piece into random shapes

to place around to add gold to my layout.

Next, I stamped the flower from Pop of Petals in

Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze.

Cutting these out was easy with the Four Petal Flower Punch

and gave me my punched element.

For the leaves, I used a combination of Moss Green Brusho

and Mossy Meadow ink.

Then, I cut out the leaves with a Frosted Bouquet Framelit.

Using the same framelit set, I cut Gray Granite berry stems.

These pieces gave me my die cut element.

And, I added a few Tropical Elements for my button element of the challenge

Under my Rich Razzleberry photo mat, I have a piece of Nature's Poem designer paper

and more Buffalo Check.

This gave me the DSP element.

Then, I added Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon as an accent to the mat

and as my ribbon element.

Once everything was in place, I splattered a little Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint

for my ink splatter element.
